Herder from Caucasus
Somewhere in the hills between Georgia and Armenia, tending his sheep. Together wandering by instinct let by the air. Trees are full of ripe stone fruits. Black cherries, purple plums and sweet apricots. Falling upon moonlight, sleeping under heavy dew. Wakening with the sun.
Concept:
A series of eight artworks
The Herder, as the serial subject, is challenged in various environments to explore his authenticity. Will he adjust to his surroundings or remain the same? When all eight works are joined, the findings are exposed.
